Founded in 2001 by the GREAT Jeni Noerenberg, The Undertones are a 17-member co-ed a cappella group at Northwestern University. We pride ourselves on maintaining a very high level of musicianship while also keeping the fun, silliness and love alive. We perform three mainstage shows at Northwestern every year as well as tons of smaller gigs. Last year, for example, we performed at veterans hospitals, at a super-fancy corporate conference, and at a wedding (just to name a few)!

But most importantly, we are a group of friends who love to sing together, love to laugh together, and love the work that we do.

The Undertones have released three studio albums: "Seriously Now," "enter soUnd," and “Boots and Cats.”

The Undertones tour nationally and internationally. Previous tour locations include California, Miami, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Edinburgh, Scotland. We are currently planning a winter break tour to GREECE for next year!

CARA nominated and ICCA award-winning, the Undertones consistently demonstrate excellence in competition. In 2007, we won our ICCA Quarterfinal and Best Choreography. In our 2010 Quarterfinal and Semifinal, we won Best Arrangement, placing among the top a cappella groups in the Midwest.

Our recording of "Get Set," available on "enter soUnd," was selected for inclusion on the album "Voices Only 2009: The Best of Collegiate A Cappella!"

Our recording of "Before the Worst," available on "Boots and Cats" was just selected for inclusion on the album "BOCA: Best of College A Cappella 2011!"

We do weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and first dates!
